Mike, I will try and do better. Funny you should mention the shirt! Bud caught a huge crappie today and reminded me he had on that same shirt. What can I say! We had lots of good and needed rain today in Colorado. Maybe tomorrow I will get up early enough to catch a big crappie. May have to borrow Bud’s shirt! Tomorrow is the big day for me! I hit 70. Jeepers, I didn’t know people lived that long! See you when we return to Red Neck Land!

Went out with Tex Bonin for catfish and bream for my son’s birthday. Between the both of us we caught 35 Catfish and 46 Bream that day. That was one fantastic day fishing with Tex. Planning to go again later on in the summer. Enjoyed the fishing up there from Alvin Tx

I love to fish for Crappie and Wow that is a nice one! I would love to fry that one up! Yum! I could sit for hours with a bucket of minnows and fish off the dock. Truman Lake in Missouri is a great place to catch some nice Crappie. Nice One!

Now that is a real good day fishing. My son and I have had good luck with jug fishing and have caught some nice bream fishing baited holes; but, we haven’t done very well on the black bass. That fish is beautiful. I think we have been fishing to shallow and need to find deeper timber and cover in the 20 ft water. Thanks for sharing with us all. My son loves to look at the blog and see what other kids are catching!

We had a tough time Saturday under the Bridge. There was so much boat traffic you couldn’t tell when you had a bite. Went back home and cooked ribs on the grill. Will try next week. Love those crappie!!!!
